Zara Potts is a forty-something writer who, as a journalist, worked as a television reporter at New Zealand's public broadcasting network, TVNZ.

 

She has spent most of her working life in news, both in front of the camera and behind it, working on several successful television news shows. She currently produces radio programs for Radio New Zealand National. She also writes for The Nervous Breakdown, where she has been a non-fiction editor.

 

She lives in Auckland, New Zealand, with her family, including one very cute bionic dog.
